THE END OF DAYS

I don’t want to be the equivalent of the placard welding nutcase proclaiming it’s the “End of the World” as we know it (wee song in there somewhere) but one does have to question the state of humanity and what we are doing to our home.

Mankind is raping the planet at a phenomenal rate. Rain forests are being cleared and scientists say that in conjunction with carbon emissions this is creating greenhouse gasses that are causing climate change. Some peeps don’t believe it.

The poor folks whose homes are washed away by floods and Tsunami … hurricanes and drought would beg to differ.

And beg they do in their starving millions. They beg us to stop harming the planet. They plead for food and we throw it away in monumental amounts. Governments seek to cloak inaction in an economic mystery. The truth is … greed is the creed.

Those who bring about war are some of the most powerful people in the world. They depend on conflict to create wealth for themselves.

When are we going to wise up?

Mother Nature is reacting and humankind … who by the way only appeared on the planet 2 minutes ago in the grand scheme of things … are dooming themselves. How ironic. We are smart. We are top of the food chain. But bottom of the pile when it comes to morality and responsibility …
