Gone but never will be forgotten

I am finding it hard to deal with the murder of Michaela Hart-McAreavey. I know I am not the only one and I didn’t even know her. The TV footage of her has hit me like a brick. What is happening in the world when a wee girl is murdered for a few quid? The world is going to hell. She was precious to her husband and family. Much loved. They will never get over it. I know because I lost my brother to a motor bike accident. I knew that bike was going to be the death of him. He thought he was indestructible. But Michaela didn’t do anything silly. She was such a great person. The shock of her murder will be so hard to deal with for so many people. It beggars belief.
There are so many bad people in the world. I’ve met some. They are greedy, vicious and jealous … some are in government. It is so sad that the world is becoming a place we are afraid to live in.
There were times I didn’t have tuppence to rub together but I would never have robbed or murdered to get an easy buck, pound or penny.
I don’t need to tell you that there people out there who wouldn’t think twice about robbing you blind. And then come back for your eye lashes.
We really need to do something to mend this world. It is our home. Where are we going to go if we destroy it?
