CATHOLIC PRIEST CHILD ABUSE

I am so sick of the revelations of further cover ups by the Catholic Church. Cardinal Brady should be de-frocked as should so many priests.

How can he look the camera in the eye and lie straight to our faces.

They have been covering up child abuse for centuries. I am angry and confused. Why Catholics do not rise up and condemn these horrific acts by refusing to go to worship and throw money at an institution that is very well off thanks to them beggars believe.

The Catholic Church in Ireland is in trouble again over child abuse. What is wrong with this rich institution run exclusively by men? If they did less begging and sold a painting they could feed the third world and if they had permitted people to use condoms Aids would not have spread.

It is so sad that they allowed child abuse and covered it up and in my personal opinion encouraged it. Allowing priests to move around when they were exposed is so clearly wrong and so many children have been scarred for life. Others took their lives. And guess what. Killing yourself is a mortal sin but shagging a child is forgiven ... It is clear they still cover it up.

And then there is the doctrine of proclivity. That sure has gone down well. The world is over populated and famine and disease is causing death and suffering on a global scale.

Sure how bad is a condom? In the grand scheme of things the Vatican should be taken to task for not allowing the use of them decades ago.

But they are rich because they rob off those who can least afford it and they need them to multiply.

They paid off victims of child abuse and lied about it. It is a drop in the Vatican’s ocean money wise. I know there are many devout Catholics and I hope you are ashamed of what is being done by priests in a position of honour and trust. It is so sickening I want to throw up. Add to that the violence all over the world in the name of religion and you have a recipe for chaos and mayhem.

Father Jack O'Donnell molested John Magee of Cohb’s 14 year old daughter and she died. Monsignor O’Callaghan told them the priest was cured. 12 year old kids were raped. It is beyond belief and understanding.

The failure to protect children is so awful I am inclined to agree with a victim who says the church is corrupt and evil. 

I have decided that religion can be abused as much by the people running churches as by the people who hide behind it and use it for profiting. The convicted killer Colin Howell is a case in point. He was not only a murderer; he molested female patients at his dental practice. He was a well-respected Baptist. I rest my case.

I got myself worked up and actually threw up. That is another thing I truly hate but I am glad I still know right from wrong and feel ill about abuse.
