MURDER MOST HORRID

I urge every right minded person who is able too, to watch the Channel 4 documentary programme The Perfect Murder about Hazel Stewart who was rightly convicted of the 1991 murder of her husband Trevor Buchanan. It's on at 7.35 pm this Friday.
Prepare yourselves to shout at the TV.

If the article in Sunday Life is anything to go by, ask yourselves why so many Baptist Christians are still supporting her. She must be very charismatic indeed, as was Howell by all accounts.

I have a theory that Hazel married police officer David Stewart because he was an easy target for her charms and a likely font of knowledge in how to avoid detection. It’s not only spiders that are Black Widows man. She drugged her husband. She let Howell in and was there while he gassed Trevor and then she helped Howell cover it up.

The woman denies murder. I would laugh if it wasn’t so diabolical. She is appealing her conviction.

The cost to the public purse in these lean times is an offence in itself. I wonder how many of her prayer group will pay to “lift her right up above her circumstances “? According to Sunday Life her followers are praying to God to help her overcome.

I wonder if any of them pray for Trevor Buchanan’s soul. He was murdered by his wife and her lover yet the Baptist fellowship are praying for the evil doer as if she were a saint. It makes no sense to me. Then religious fervour and narrow-minded dogma has baffled me for as long as I first witnessed Christian hypocrisy in action in my early teens.

Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing is an adage that was very likely coined about those who profess to be godly but are truly evil instead.

People who blindly follow a lie, such as that the earth was made in 6 days, are likely to be open to the seduction of a powerful man or women or both. I realise that many people are draw to religion. I am the opposite. I am drawn to science and what is proven and known to be true. I respect peeps right to have faith but can’t understand how they can justify religious wars and the rape and pillage of children. Churches seek wealth and that is the root off all evil. The givers will argue against that but Christ taught that we should be altruistic. You won’t find many Christians who would rather give to the poor than give to the church. There are good people out there but they are few and far between.
