SCUNNERED

I don’t know about you peeps but I am bloddy well fed up. The cost of fuel is so high that it’s becoming a luxury. Food prices are getting out of hand. A can of tomatoes was anything between 13 to 30 pence and now it is 50 pence plus. And “they”, whoever they are, tell us the cost of living is approximately 2.5% higher. And that is the marked down price. Where the hell do “they” shop? It sure isn’t round here.

The cost of fuel is going to cripple hauliers and if they can’t haul we can’t buy. It will soon be dog eat dog out there. It’s one thing after another to make profit at the cost of the most disadvantaged.

Causeway Hospital has introduced parking charges. Well done taxing the sick and those who come to visit them you freaks. Grrrrrr!

There are those that say they can’t afford to feed their kids yet they can afford to buy fags and drink. Is it me or is it them that are wrong about life choices? Why should I support people who don’t want to help themselves? I am so scunnered. There are children dying in poverty and starvation around the world. They don’t have ANY food or clean drinking water. They have no medicine. We have a throwaway society. I know it may seem a little matter but you only have to look around the verges and streets to see how some people treat the environment. They open their car windows and turf their rubbish out. It really beggars belief that kids in particular care so little for the planet. Of course you only have to look at their parents for an answer. They brought them into the world yet they expect teachers to wipe their bottoms because they haven’t been toilet trained. Everyone is expected to help out. Don’t breed if you can’t or won’t be bothered to feed and nurture your offspring. It is shameful the way you expect us to do what you should be doing.

Another thing that sticks in my craw is the fact that wee soldiers are dying in theatres like Afghanistan. What for exactly? Tony Blair wanted war and he sure got it but he is sitting pretty and our wee weans are being blown to bits. It makes no sense.

Then there are the wee doggie woggies. People get them on a whim and then caste them out like rubbish. Staffy’s are the most loving and loyal dogs and yet they are the most abandoned one’s. There should be a law to make sure people are going to be responsible about caring for pets. Dogs are pack animals. They want company. Anyone who thinks it’s ok to put them out in a kennel in the yard wants to spend a night out there themselves. Dogs are so sensitive. They can read our moods and comfort us when we are down. Cats are superior to humans but you have to admire them for their finesse. The Rock hates cats so goodness help any that come in to pee or foul in the garden.

Yet another gripe is the MOT test. For goodness sake, vehicles are built to last. Kia are giving a 7 year warranty. I have a 9 year old Skoda and it runs like a dream. I think the Ministry of Transport test is yet another stealth tax. Once upon a time, in the ancient past, vehicles were a bit not so roadworthy. That does not apply now so why keep bringing the test time down? Next thing the government freaks will want to test out vehicles before they leave the showroom. I wish they put more effort into health care. But let’s face it, health care is too complicated and not as profitable unless you are a private company.
